The Day of your Surgery Do not eat or drink eight (8) hours prior to your surgery. Wear loose, casual clothing. Do not wear makeup or nail polish. Support Person: please bring someone to be with you during the immediate postoperative period  and for the ride home. Bring a list of any prescription drugs you may be taking. Please bring someone to be with you during the immediate postoperative period and for driving you home. Our team of nurses will ensure a nurturing and comforting environment during your recovery. Our staff is trained to address and manage your pain in the postoperative period. You will be given written instructions and any necessary prescriptions before you leave. In consideration of other patients waiting for procedures, we ask you only have 1-2 adults (no children) to accompany you on the day of your procedure. Thank you!
